I would do an lsx but I'm tired of trying to find one that someone isn't wanting a small home loan for. LOL. Plus the SR is a direct swap with no wiring needed. The chassis wiring on the car is already set up for the SR. So buy a swap, install some fresh bits, install and then boom goes the dynamite.

I'm sad to see the purple car go to but I'm ready for some gs300 action.

I'll see if I can take a pic and get the steering wheel to show up on the left side.

you could duct tape a fisher price wheel to the left side........i think that'd fool them.

I've noticed lsx engines have gone up in price, used to be able to get em all day long for 1500 with a t56 6sp on them....

same goes for bmw I-6 engines, used to be you could buy an s54 with smg and all the harnesses to install into e30/36 cars for 4k, now try 6k for just the engine.....

Why are prices going up so much?

Wish I knew, hell my wifes family owns GW Pierce Autoparts and I still couldnt find one on a decent enough deal to go for it. Oh well, Ill be happy with mild modded 300whp SR. Im not looking to set any land speed records. Just want to be able to toss the thing around from time to time...

A few of the key players in the industry decided in this economy the only people buying had too much disposable income and they were going to get as much of it as they could, every one else followed suit.
They can only charge what some one will pay, so some one is paying too much and hurting the small guys.

Well, then again 80% of bmw owners are f*cos that have too much money and can't drive them
