Yea i have had the car for about 2 years and i finally started doing all the paint and body work to it about 6 months ago. I was really lucky i found the car in a barn and bought it for 600 bucks. the kid said it was to much work cause it needed axles hahah.(If some of it doesnt make sense sorry i pulled all of this off honda-tech.
After some tear down

Washed the carpet but its drying right now but heres a pic of what it looked like:

Ground out the surface rust spots and rust morted them:

o0o yea got bored and painted a single cam valve cover!

Went to chicago and got a Passanger side fender, vis, hood, and some lights. Figured I would post some pics of the progress

after we based we took the car apart to clear so we could concentrate on clearing each peice.

The bumpers are sexy!!!

UPdates!!!! the whole car has been wet sanded and buffed!
put together the hatch, rear bumper and tail lights more tomorrow!!! wo0ot it looks like a car again

yea lol it didnt start out this crazy lol i just wanted to paint the rear cause i wanted a rear gut, then next thing you know i dont have a dash in and i have no glass and im painting underneath the front carpet lol but i deffinatly learned alot from this i just want it done lol. but its just sitting cause i dont have anytime to work on it because were s0o busy at work

AWEsome. I miss mine. Gonna put an insert in the moonroof spot? Or just replace the factory panel? I think the fiberglass insert I ran saved around 50 lbs (from the top of the car, cg +). Still slow, though.

Also, thank you for NOT painting the bumper moldings!

man i hate painted bumper molding on efs!!! and i just want to get a replacment moonroof lol i liked it im not big on weight saving and what have ya's. well not yet lol maybe cause i dont have money hah

The engine bay is now painted.....

The rear gut was taped off to be resprayed.

The rear gut is now painted and almost everything has been reinstalled thats going back on.

The Brake Booster and Wiper Motor were both stripped and painted. The Master Cylinder was also stripped down and recleaned before reinstalling.
