spherical bushings for trailing arms

I am thinking of installing spherical bushings into my rear trailing arms instead of replacing the rubber oems that are torn up. I bought a set of integra arms that came with a set of old AEM big brake kit. 12 inch rotors up front and 11 in the back that use stock calipers with aftermarket brackets. Since I am getting in deep with the suspension I want to go all out for the track. I know they will be a little rough ride wise, but are they worth it? Does any one even use them on here?

Yeah, 100 for oem autozone ones or 2-300 for some nice ones. Deff leaning towards the bearings. If I ever get my return here soon I'll get this pile going. Still want pic suspension, replace all bearings/bushings, upgraded sway bars, buy a nice built head off a member hear if he still has it around, and maybe some lsd...

stopped at the greenwood acura and talking to the parts guy, eggezzy(i think) on here, and he showed me these since they apparently don't sell oe replacements.

just save the cash and get energy suspension replacements, they are less then 50 bucks and you wont wanna kill yourself the 99% of the time when your car isn't on the track. take it from someone that bought into the whole spherical bushing hype, im much happier with the polys

I love my pics! You won't be disappointed. Contact Suja One Motoring up in Chicago to place your order. Also I have spherical toe and camber arms and will be getting trailing arm bearings as well. The suspension is a lot more predictable but your ride quality will suffer, but if your building for track use then you'll won't be upset. Mine also will squeak the first few bumps after its been sitting awhile. Just keep them lubed up with pb and you'll be fine.

First, are these complete replacements? Or just zip tied in rubber like their engine mount inserts?

If they are just inserts I will still have to replace the ones that are in it. So 100 bucks for new oem ones then 50 for the polys. Then ones that are there aren't really even attached anymore. They are toast. But if the bearings work well I won't mind the harsh ride since it will not be daily. I have my ek coupe and soon to have a s10 beater as well. I just want to know if they work well. No worries on ride quality. So for an extra 50 bucks are the bearings an improvement over polys when it comes to handling? Performance over luxury on this choice.

Already talked to some one about pricing on the PICs out of Chicago, prob same company. How long have you had your bearings? Looking for durability as well. What brand do you use? I'll have to look into the toe links and camber arms. Car will be getting a bigger front sway along with an rear since mine doesn't have one. Not sure if cx's came with them or not but there isn't anything there.

So polys or sphericals for the trailing arms either way works better. Probably try and get some more feed back considering this stuff won't be done till April when I am out of school for the summer.

Thanks for the help, tips, and advice. It helps.

The polys completely replace that failing rubber part they are actually less then 50 shipped. I can't feel any handling difference on the street but the ride seems better

Black ones are still squeaky. You just gotta lube them all the time. Had full polyurethane on my first civic.... Sounded like a bucket of bolts hitting bumps.

when i did all my polys.... took a torch, heated up the metal center till it separated from the rubber. took vise grips and twisted and pulled.... then to get the metal sleeve out, take a sawzall and make a cut on top and bottom, all the way through the sleeve, but not through the arm. pb, hammer, and screwdriver and it pops right out.

I think I'll end up with the polys in the ta, but for the rest I might go with the bearings. Thanks for the advise. Pretty much the same for replacing the control arm rubber bushing on e30's.
