idk about their good reasons, but it doesn't seem like a bad reason, as long as it holds together....unlike the firestone fiasco

I think they'd be a good set of street tires for guys that run race tires and super aggressive alignments for autox and track days and don't feel like changing their alignment for whenever they drive on the street.

Aside from that I don't think there'd be any real benefit.

For us "occasional" speedsters, I think this is a great idea.
And if it lets you remove rolling resistance by taking out the tow, then why wouldn't all vehicles benefit? ( This last is in response to Justin)

I don't see why it'd let you take out tow. If you take a car with normal tires and 0* camber, then put those tires on and dial in 2* of negative camber, you're exactly where you started. I guess the track width might be a very tiny bit wider, but other than that the tread is exactly where it was to begin with.

To me it's 6 of one, a half dozen of the other.

But isn't that the idea, that you don't need the 2* of negative camber? And you also get to delete all or most of the tow, which causes drag.
maybe I'm wrong?

If you put those tires on a car and didn't add negative camber to the alignment, the car would handle like ass and you'd wear the outside edge of the tires.

The tires basically add positive camber to the car, then you go in and cancel it out by adding negative camber to the alignment, then you get to drive around yelling "OMG YOU GUYS, I HAVE NEGATIVE CAMBER AND EVEN TIRE WEAR!!1!!!" out the window.

You could put those tires on and delete all the toe if you want, but I don't think the car would go down the road any different than if you went out in your garage right now and set your car to zero toe.

I think there's definitely a market for tires like that for weekend racers and honda and VW guys who drop their cars in the weeds, but I doubt there's anywhere near the performance gains that guy is claiming, if any. I could be wrong.
