step 1: put brick on gas pedal
step 2: start engine
step 3: dump clutch
step 4: RUN

P2070 code, but no other symptoms - RX8Club.com

Double check on warranty. Mazda extended some sort of warranty up to 100k miles even for the 04s.

There is a mazda TSB about the SSV with the P2070 code. Will check on that monday. Also I have scoured rx8 forum, but most resolutions are to replace ssv, which requires taking most of the motor apart, then out.

I can offer a possible solution: replace engine with LSX or modern Hemi and WIN! Coyote 302 would be cool too.

Remember, your number of trophies is directly proportionate to the number of rotors under your hood.

no snails needed. for.each extra rotor above two you multiply the power out put by 300% it almost becomes a free energy device when you get to four...

Yessir. 3 bank of 4. (4 seems to be the limit for structural integrity of the eccentric shaft.)
