Need RX8 help
P2070 SSV stuck open ON 2 CCM
Not sure if I should go to the dealer for this and hope its under warranty or what. Does anyone know a good RX8 person in indy EDIT: pretty sure this isnt under warranty 2004 with 84 k Last edited by yellowgnoma; 10-02-2011 at 12:57 PM. |

Double check on warranty. Mazda extended some sort of warranty up to 100k miles even for the 04s.

There is a mazda TSB about the SSV with the P2070 code. Will check on that monday. Also I have scoured rx8 forum, but most resolutions are to replace ssv, which requires taking most of the motor apart, then out.

I can offer a possible solution: replace engine with LSX or modern Hemi and WIN! Coyote 302 would be cool too.
