Here he talks about a lot of stuff I don't understand http://www.rcpodcast.com/2010/06/15/...i-torque-roll/

What great is when you design your own plane and have to figure out wing loading and center of gravity. I'm working on a ducted fan "wedge".

I'll have to check out hobbyking (we've ordered form there a few times now). I use a DX6i and am real happy with it. FPV looks awesome. The Eagle is the best plane I currently have for it.

My colleague Trappy goes over 10km. (he's also went 43km). This means he flies and ELECTRIC RC plane 10km / 43km from where he is standing - AND BACK That's a SOLID rc and video link - tough to achieve. Make sure you use high-res. When my GoProHero HD camera arrives I'll post my own FPV videos.

Forgot to post, I too am also into audio. It's my career and my hobby, so it works out great. In addition to building guitar cabinets, I have built my own speakers in the past. I plan on redoing my home theater setup with all new self-designed/self-made speakers this winter. I also do audio recording too. Pretty much anything that has to deal with audio/sound is my hobby.

I don't mess around with the RC stuff, I get to play with the real thing!

And somewhat non-auto related. I do my own powdercoating. Mainly done car parts so far, but I've done non car stuff so it counts as a non car hobby.

I hate his flying site - it's gorgeous there. But there are some good spots in Ga that I have been flying at and I'll try to come to show -

Here are his videos - not bad for an $800 investment :

Pitbulls, guns, and cars. Living the life.

You wouldnt believe the looks I get from people when I pull up in my car, on 22's...get my big pit out of the back seat, and they see the gun (that i just lost in a boating accident) on my hip.

People tend to think I'm up to no good, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I am an avid supporter of firearms safety, and animal rescue. Dog fighting is one of the things I hate the most in the world. Probably going to get a Boston Terrier in the near future too.

Usually my hobbies are cars and motorcycles.

I've decided to go back to school.. So I sold all my toys. Minus the R6 (First bike stays forever)

I used to fly my dad's kit planes around when was little (trainer style) and thought it would be a fun, fairly inexpensive hobby. I started researching when I saw this thread and decided to start playing with foam. Theoretically I should start with a depron profile plane.. but that's no fun. I decided use some spare pink foam I had around to put together a plane. Aileron controls will be completely hidden, elevators will go through the fuse and exit right before the flaps. No rudder on this one, don't want to complicate things too much whilst relearning to fly. I'm building the plane a little on the heavy side, as I like things that are fast, and i'd get bored playing with a floater.

This is where she sits as of tonight.. I have about 3 hours of labor, and 6$ in materials so far.
